Metallurgy

- Ferroalloys make steel more flexible and frost-resistant. They also increase wear resistance and overall strength.
High-purity ferroalloys allow for the production of high-quality rails.

- Welding flux is used to obtain welded joints.

Electrical Engineering

Corrosion resistance, increased heat resistance, and the high proportion of silicon in ferrosilicon allow the material to be used in electrical engineering – in the production of transformers and power machines.
