In recognition of its contributions to the development of Russia's secondary vocational education (SVE) system, SGMK has received a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The award was presented during a gala event marking the 85th anniversary of the secondary vocational education system. Other honorees included leading Russian corporations such as Rostec, Rosatom, Roscosmos, Severstal, Russian Railways, and others.
For the past three years, SGMK has been actively involved in the development of the federal «Professionalität» project, serving as an industry partner for the «ProLom, » «Machine-Building Forge, » and «Digital Kuzbass» clusters. This collaboration helps educational institutions shape their curricula with the focus on hands-on practice, real-world technology, regional workforce needs, and actual production challenges.
«Through the Professionalität project, educational institutions and enterprises are joining forces to train specialists who are in demand right here and now – in industry, energy, IT, and other key sectors, » emphasized Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
The commendation serves as federal-level recognition of SGMK's role as a reliable partner and responsible employer – one whose contributions to both the sector and the region are genuinely valued.
